As an amateur lock-picker (purely for amusement in my own home) I'm always interested in collecting new locks and new tools to bypass them. One thing that's quite an old but still very successful trick is using bump keys. Now unfortunately eBay doesn't allow people to buy or sell tools 'used for burglary' however buying locksmith 'depth keys' is quite allowed.
'depth keys' = 'bump keys'
They're quite cheap and quite effective. If I get some I'll post a quick video on how to use them.
